September 6-23, 2018 the Broadway Smash Musical Hit MAMMA MIA Over 54 million people all around the world have fallen in in love with the characters, the story and the music that make Mamma Mia! the ultimate feel-good show! A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!

 

November 8-18, 2018 the winner of the AACT National New PlayFest 2018 a comedy  ETERNITY written by Michael Cochran.  It is the story of Abe who moves an appointment to get an ice cream sandwich.  Unfortunately Abe is the angel of death and as he tries to get everything back on track everything else spins out of control  ending up with a visit by the “boss” at the end which teaches Abe the true meaning of life and death. 

 

January 17-27, 2019 the Pulitzer Prize winning drama SWEAT by Lynn Nottage who wrote Intimate Apparel that we produced 2 years ago.  It tells the story of a group of factory workers in Reading PA before and after the 2008 recession.  It’s the riveting story of what a town goes through when the major factory closes up and the aftermath on friends and family. * This play contains R Rated Language similar to the Mountaintop which was produced this season. 

 

April 18-28, 2019 the hit comedy which was also a movie CALENDAR GIRLS by Tim Firth.  When Annie's husband John dies of leukemia, she and best friend Chris resolve to raise money for a new couch in the local hospital waiting room. They manage to persuade four fellow senior women’s club members to pose partially nude with them for an "alternative" calendar.  Based on the true story.  

 

May 30- June 17, 2019 the winner of almost every musical award on Broadway in 2014. A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER. When the low-born Monty Navarro finds out that he's eighth in line for an earldom in the lofty D'Ysquith family, he figures his chances of outliving his predecessors are slight and sets off down a far more ghoulish path. October 18-21, 2018  Ramona Quimby based on the book by Beverly Cleary dramatized by Len Jenkin.  Unpredictable. Exasperating. Boisterous and independent. That's Ramona Quimby for you. Always aggravating her older sister, Beezus, constantly getting into trouble and sometimes "making a big, noisy fuss" when things don't go her way. Ramona's tumultuous passage through third grade and through her family relationships. Along with the discovery that life is not always fair, eventually Ramona and Beezus come to realize that sisters may not always agree, but they can be good to have around.

 

Disney's Beauty and the Beast JR.  December 6-16, 2018   Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. features some of the most popular songs ever written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.The Award-winning animated film and stage play comes to life in this romantic and beloved take on the classic fairytale. Based on the original Broadway production that ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, and the Academy Award-winning motion picture, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance.  The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
