Fall 2021 Class Schedule:
Masking: Masks are required for all students.
$35/month for 60 minute classes
$30/month for 45 minute classes
**Discount offer: First two classes are full monthly price, all other classes are only $25 per month.** Scholarships and financial aid are available!

What to wear:
Shoes: Black Tap, black jazz, pink ballet shoes (depending on the class).
Clothing: Please wear comfortable clothing for tap/jazz classes with hair pulled away from the face (t-shirt and leggings or shorts).
Ballet students should wear a leotard and leggings or tights with hair in a bun.
Where to go:
Classes are held in MHT’s NEW dance studios located at 206 & 208 KY Avenue! The lobby is on the backside of these buildings - there is a parking lot off 2nd Street behind the Finkel building.
DanceMHT is MHT's premier dance program for pre-school through high school! We offer beginner - advanced classes in ballet, tap, and jazz and also offer hip-hop, contemporary, and pointe. Classes meet on weekday evenings for approximately 13 weeks, with two sessions per year. There is an annual Spring Showcase after the first session and a smaller Christmas Showcase after the second session.
Session 1: January - May
Session 2: August - December.

Meet the DanceMHT Program Director:
Emi Chapman Hensel is instructor/choreographer for DanceMHT and is principal choreographer for Market House Theatre, including the recent musicals Mamma Mia, The Addams Family, Hairspray, Mary Poppins and All Shook Up.
She has studied Ballet, Modern and Dance Improvisation at Belhaven University.
Ashlee Brotherton is a dancer/choreograpger from Louisville, KY. She received her Bachelors in Musical Theatre from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glascow, United Kingdom. She has trained with members of The Royal Ballet, The Royal Scottish Ballet, Matthew Bourne's New Adventures and English National Ballet. Ashlee specializes in jazz and contemporary dance with an emphasis on Broadway-style jazz, and has choreographed several shows in the area including West Side Story at PTHS and Disney's Beauty and the Beast, JR. at MHT. She is very excited to get back into the studio with her students!
Addie Franklin is a junior at Paducah Tilghman High School and dancer at DanceMHT. She is a teaching assistant at MHT and past assistant at DanceMHT, with several years of dancing experience at DanceMHT and The Rhythm Factory. She is super excited to have the opportunity to teach this year!
