The Tempest

Friday, July 9, 2021 to Sunday, July 11, 2021

Join us in the park this summer for Market House Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park! Our show this year: The Tempest, Shakespeare’s comedy about a major act of betrayal, ill treatment, the development of magic arts and a plot of revenge. When the banished Prospero sees his brother’s ship wreck off the coast of the island he inhabits with his daughter, he sends a tempest to torment the sailors who’ve been split up on shore. Magical spirits, young love and adventures abound. Shakespeare’s The Tempest has been delighting audiences for over 400 years.
